US 69 is an epic highway that runs from Port Arthur north to Albert Lea, Minnesota, but the section of interest to those who seek the best motorcycle roads is the forested section between Whitewright and Kountze. This section, part of the Texas Forest Trail, is spectacular during springtime. In Texas, the northeast-er you go the wetter it gets. Flowers love the rain, so, seekers of colored petals, head to the forest post haste!
