Got a week of vacation coming to you? Consider beating the Texas heat and heading over to our neighbor, Arkansas. This ride will take you some 1,300 miles (and a whole week, if you plan it right). You’ll enjoy some great riding while exploring five wonderful state park lodges. There are plenty of twisties and breathtaking scenic views to feed your soul. This ride also offers a great opportunity to visit important sites in the history of the blues, rockabilly, and rock and roll. Head to the Delta and East Arkansas to Dyess and stop into Johnny Cash’s restored boyhood home. Then scale Mount Magazine, the state’s highest peak. Along the way, stop at Jones’ BBQ in Marianna and McClard’s BBQ (former President Bill Clinton’s favorite) in Hot Springs. Send a postcard!
