Our Annual BEST IN TEXAS Readers’ Choice Poll included the category for readers/riders to vote for their favorite wildflower road. We complied readers’ responses into a TOP 10 list of the best wildflower roads in Texas. This is number 8.

FM 337 is most famous for being one of the Hill Country’s three twisted sisters, FM 337, FM 336, and FM 335. But during the spring, FM 337 not only offers its usual attractions, it also becomes a showcase for wildflowers. You might even want to slow down and smell the bluebonnets…

Watch out for falling rocks, deer and the even more unpredictable weekend sightseers in Suburbans cutting into the oncoming lane in the switchbacks.
