The Show Goes On in 2021

Ride Texas would like to wish our motorcycle family a happy holiday season and share some news to bring even more cheer with the coming of the New Year.

Many of our most loved motorcycle events, while suspended in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, have announced their dates to resume in 2021!

Here are a few to look forward to:

  • Texas Fandango, April 9 – 11, Fredericksburg. The Cherokee Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America is putting on their second annual vintage motorcycle show, swap meet, and races.
  • The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, April 16-18, Austin. Who doesn’t love this annual bike show curated by Revival Cycles to share the two-wheeled creations of some of the country’s most talented builders? This, friends, is where the cool kids hang out.
  • Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally, June 10-21, Austin. The ROT Rally is going even bigger this year for its 25th anniversary bash. New in 2021: new premium RV lots and glamping; the Inaugural Derwood Invitational Builder Show; and a multi-genre, all-day music festival on the Rally Midway. Discounted early bird rally passes are available now on the event website.
  • Lone Star Rally, November 4 – 7, Galveston. Each year during the first week of November, bikers from all over Texas and beyond take over Galveston Island to enjoy bike shows, biker games, live entertainment, and vendors galore. The rally itself is free, although tickets are required to attend concerts. Consider purchasing a VIP package, available on the event website now, to score balcony seating for the best people-watching and amenities.

We will, of course, continue to follow the news in the event of any calendar changes. But please do check in advance with the sources before assuming any event is happening.

To stay in the know about upcoming motorcycle events in Texas and surrounding states, check the online Ride Texas Events Calendar and subscribe to our monthly newsletter.

As always, if you would like to get the word out about an upcoming motorcycle-related event, let us know by sending e-mail to events@ridetexas.com.
