From US 281, turn onto FM 473 West and travel about 27 miles to Old #9 Road. Turn right toward the Old Tunnel Wildlife Management Area. Enjoy the cruise through some gorgeous country. When you arrive at Old Tunnel WMA, turn right on Alamo Road. Go about 50-75 yards and on the right is the Alamo Springs Café, offering live music, great food and priceless sunsets. Call for band line-ups, sun set times and bat fly times. Yes, you can watch the bats fly out of the tunnel from their deck.
