The trailer-food craze has hit Austin with a vengeance. One of the super-stars is Torchy’s Tacos. Torchy’s also has several locations in actual buildings, too (gasp!).
Big, fat tacos, made with fresh ingredients. My fav is the “Trailer Park,” a taco made with fried chicken. Another highlight is the “Brush Fire,” but be forewarned it is made with actual habaneros so it will light your mouth afire. Tacos run from about $2.5 – $4. I find one is enough for lunch, but at this price you can go crazy and get 2 just to be safe. Locations
