Texas is rich in legend and lore. In this edition we follow in the footsteps of some of the Lone Star State's most notorious characters, on back roads, of course!

We have gone over to the dark side in this edition: following in the infamous tire tracks of Bonnie & Clyde, who for a few short, but dramatic years, cut a swath across the northern part of the Lone Star State. We also highlight a few of our favorite haunts, literally—cool rides to the scary side. And to balance these out, we have a seaside ride along the Gulf Coast to brighten your mood.

Let’s ride on the trail of Bonnie & Clyde

The Lone Star State was the stage where much of the legend of Bonnie & Clyde played out. You don’t have to be a desperado to enjoy these back roads. Go Plan and 2 custom route maps.

Gangsters, Gunslingers & Lawmen

Texas looms large in the history of notorious characters along with the lawmen who pursued them and brought them to justice—from a bank robbing Santa, to legendary Texas Rangers.

Ride with the tide

Take in a little bit of seaside R&R along our Gulf Coast. Kick back or cruise along the coast. Seaside roads string together sand swept dunes. It’ll do you good, you know it. Go Plan and 2 custom route maps.
