What it is

Started in 2010, the Motorcycle Cannonball is a coast-to-coast endurance ride on pre-1930 motorcycles.  In its inaugural run  54 of the 66 pre-1930 bikes finished the event.

The Texas connection

2012’s event runs September 7 – 23 and has nearly 100 riders, including three Texans:

#3 Buck Carson on a 1927 BSA 500 single
#31 Clyde Crouch on a 1929 Henderson KJ
#41 Mike Bell on a 1923 Harley Davidson J

We wish all riders a great Cannonball, and even more,  a safe Cannonball. Go Texas!

(The ride features stops at the ride sponsor’s businesses for photo ops. Clever that.)
