Cowboy Mardi Gras
Get ready for a weekend filled with Cajun and Zydeco music across Bandera County on February 20 to 22, 2026.
On Saturday, February 22nd, join in the parade at 12 PM, featuring Cajun costumes, horses and animals, cowboys, cowgirls, and an array of festive rides showcasing their Cowboy Mardi Gras flair.
Don’t miss the Gumbo Cook-off on 11th Street, where you can indulge in mouthwatering Cajun flavors. If shopping is more your style, explore the Arts & Crafts Fair on the courthouse lawn.
Experience the thrill of bull riding at Mansfield Arena, where fearless cowboys take on powerful bulls for the ultimate showdown. Gates open at 1pm. Bull Riding at 3pm.
As the sun sets, Bandera comes alive with Cajun and Zydeco music.
