Big T Memorial BBQ Cook Off and Music Festival

The Big T Memorial BBQ Cookoff and Music Festival is a two-day event benefitting children with special needs in Freestone and surrounding counties. The event kicks off Friday, September 7th with the BBQ Cookoff followed by Texas country artists JB & The Moonshine Band and Blacktop Mojo.

Saturday features a variety of events including the 21st Annual Show of Wheels Classic Car Show, Fairfield City Wide Garage Sale, and a Coon Hunt. The event culminates Saturday night with country music superstars Little Texas plus Cameran Nelson and Nashville singer-songwriters Mitch Ballard, D Vincent Williams, and NSync member Chris Kirkpatrick.

The event is presented by the City of Fairfield, KXXV Channel 25 and our sponsors. Tickets are now on sale and teams may enter the BBQ Cookoff here on our website.

$15,000 in cash and prizes.
$200 entry

Magnolia Days Festival

Houston Citywide 3rd Annual Blessing of the Bikes

Blessing of the bikes Saturday, Jan 4, 2020. Meet at HD of Kingwood at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The CMA chapters will be holding a chili cookoff. All attendees will partake in the chili and fixings. The event is open to all bikes and bike groups. All bikes are given an opportunity for bike blessing.

Crockett County Deerfest

December 7 @ 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm

A community-wide appreciation banquet for hunters, this evening helps raise money for local civic organizations and the West Texas Rehab. Attendees are fed a meal of chicken-fried deer, turkey, axis, deer sausage, deer chili, deer tamales and brisket. Proceeds are raised through ticket sales for door prizes and admission fees.
