Big T Memorial BBQ Cook Off and Music Festival

The Big T Memorial BBQ Cookoff and Music Festival is a two-day event benefitting children with special needs in Freestone and surrounding counties. The event kicks off Friday, September 7th with the BBQ Cookoff followed by Texas country artists JB & The Moonshine Band and Blacktop Mojo.

Saturday features a variety of events including the 21st Annual Show of Wheels Classic Car Show, Fairfield City Wide Garage Sale, and a Coon Hunt. The event culminates Saturday night with country music superstars Little Texas plus Cameran Nelson and Nashville singer-songwriters Mitch Ballard, D Vincent Williams, and NSync member Chris Kirkpatrick.

The event is presented by the City of Fairfield, KXXV Channel 25 and our sponsors. Tickets are now on sale and teams may enter the BBQ Cookoff here on our website.

$15,000 in cash and prizes.
$200 entry
Also kids cook-off, domino tourney, and corn hole tourney

Remembering Crockett County Veterans Exhibit

November 1 - December 7

Each year, the Crockett County Museum in Ozona, TX, honors our veterans both past and present with an exhibit featuring photos, artifacts and memorabilia submitted by local families. There are hundreds of photos and other items dating back to the Civil War. Open to the public during regular museum hours. Exhibit open throughout November and continues until Dec. 7th.
