No Big Bend Ranch State Park Cattle Drive in 2012
According to Robert McCorkle, Media Relations Coordinator with Texas Parks & Wildlife Department there will be no spring cattle drive at Big Bend Ranch SP in 2012.
Buescher State Park Offers “Lost Pines” Experience
State park fans reeling from the closure of Bastrop State Park due to destruction caused by the recent wildfire that blackened all but 100 acres of the park can still enjoy a winter outing in the “Lost Pines” by visiting its nearby Buescher State Park, which escaped unscathed from the widespread fire.
