Barnett's Magaizne ceases publication in 2011

Another cycle magazine ceases publication. This time it’s Barnett’s Magazine, named after the publisher/editor Mark Barnett. Yes, that Mark Barnett, proprietor of Barnett’s Harley-Davidson in El Paso. Barnett started the self-named El Paso-based publication in 1997. The magazine featured customized Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was distributed nationally.

The final issue was published September of 2011. In the final issue, there was mention of another new publication by Barnett in which former Cycle World editor, Dave Edwards would be a editorial contributor, but we have no additional information on whether or not this publication will be launched.

Barnett’s Harley-Davidson is not affected by the closing of the magazine.
