It’s time to get your engines warmed up for the 8th Annual RIDE TEXAS® Magazine BEST IN TEXAS Readers’ Choice Awards. It’s RTM’s annual issue packed with the best of the best, as determined by y’all. But this requires that you vote. We hope you’ll take a few minutes and vote for all of your favorites from across the state and beyond. Your vote matters. And you can win one of 3 great prizes, just by voting!
Why not complete the ballot now and be entered to win one of the earlybird cash prizes? Everyone who submits a valid ballot (please see below for rules) will be entered to win one of these great prizes.
There is a ballot published in the August/September issue, in addition to the online ballot. Both types of votes are valid. There’s no purchase required to win.
Online votes
After you complete the ballot you will be asked to provide an e-mail address. We will not distribute or use your e-mail address for commericial purposes. It's only purpose is to confirm one vote per person, to the best of our ability. Please be certain to confirm your vote by simply clicking on the link when you get the confirmation. e-mail. That's it. You must do this step to qualify for the drawing, as we will be contacting you via the e-mail address you enter.
It pays to act early. The sooner you send your ballot, the better your odds will be.
When will the results be published?
The results will be printed in the February/March BEST IN TEXAS issue. The issue will be available on newsstands January 20, 2009. Look for it everywhere magazines are sold. (Subscribers just need to look in their
mailboxes as usual.)
Rules
To qualify for the drawing
1. You must vote for at least 10 categories on the ballot.
2. Complete contact info required.
3. Original ballots only. No copies.(printed ballot)
4. One vote per person.
5. Must be 16 years or older.
6. Ballot postmarked or confrim vote online by 10/7/2008.
7. One prize per person.
8. Employees of RTM are not eligible for prizes.
9. No purchase. required.
Regions
As we've done in previous years, to make sure that we recognize bests across the entire state (instead of just the population centers) we've again made categories vote by region. These are the 7 regions as defined by the State of Texas.
